Trade Fair WOTS (World of Technology and Science): One venue of technology, one visitor badge

 

 

From Tuesday September 30 to Friday October 3, 2014 the largest meeting place for Technology, Science and Industry in the Benelux will take place in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht (NL). Both the four worlds Automation, Laboratory, Motion & Drives and Electronics as Macropak, Industrial Processing and Industrial European Dairy Show are gathered together under one roof.
The seven trade fairs jointly represent about 900 exhibitors and is called World of Technology and Science. As a visitor to the fairs you can meet all these companies with a single access badge in all halls.

When visiting the exhibition, you exchange your registration certificate at the entrance of the trade fair for your entrance badge. With this badge you have access to the exhibition halls and you can visit all the companies of the seven technology fairs. The fairs are no longer divided in several places in different weeks. The participants of World of Technology& Science are in halls 7 to 11. Simultaneously the exhibitors of Macropak, Industrial Processing and Industrial European Dairy Show are standing in the halls 1 to 4. The venue for technology joins forces in one week and in one place. This makes your fair visit efficiently and effectively. Apart from this trade fair, there are a lot of other things to experience, like gathering the free fair gadget ‘Virtual Memo’, conferences, life manufacturing, and a lot more.

Data Physics’ products at work.

 

 

Data Physics’ range of small shakers are in use all over the world. Some have even been taken into space for special experiments under zero gravity conditions. Applications have included medical research, electronic component testing, materials analysis, automotive component testing, tyre balancing and actuator applications for antenna positioning using low axial stiffness special suspension units. The V20, V55 and V100 may also be supplied in monobase structures for combined and horizontal testing.
In our booth we have a V55-PA300E shaker system (300N) working together with a Vector vibration controller of Data Physics.

CSM introduces the EtherCAT CANbus modules

 

 

The ECAT ADMM 4 is the first module of the new CSM EtherCAT Series that combines the proven functionality of the CAN-based measurement technology of CSM with a fast and standardized bus system.
It can measure up to 10 kHz per channel with high Ethernet bandwidth (100 MBit/s). It moreover also fully supports the EtherCAT time synchronization mechanisms.The ECAT ADMM 4 module provides a broad and very precise input voltage range of ± 10 mV to ± 60 V in adjustable levels as well as a high precision sensor excitation voltage per channel.

XTM CANbus analysing software

 

 

 

 

 

XTM is a software environment used to control embedded network nodes (electronic control units). It can also be used to display and modify the inner states of that network nodes. Moreover it's possible to visualize the communication of embedded network nodes, to analyse it and, if required, to replace missing network nodes by simulation its network behaviour. You can also use XTM in order to influence and complete the network traffic.

XTM has a modular design: The implementation of the hardware interfaces and for example, for the communication protocols are on the lowest layer. The interfaces are set up and parameterized, but not visible while normal operation of XTM. Only the results (data and signals) generated by the interfaces, are visible.

AXON telemetry systems:  Flexible in use, reliable in operation

 

 

Modern telemetry systems for contactless data transmission basically have to perform two tasks:
- inductive power transmission to the Rotor Unit
- highly accurate recording, processing and transmission of the measured sensor values
Telemetry systems cover a large number of applications from the field test. They offer the easiest way to record absolutely wear-free and maintenance-free physical measurement signals on rotating components. As with all telemetry systems, J-series, the energy is transferred inductively to the shaft – alternatively, the supply by battery is available for all systems. It should be as simple and flexible as possible both, the installation and the operation.
For all telemetry systems within the J-series, different stator unis are available to achieve best measurement results.

Courses ‘Introduction to Vibration’ and ‘Fixtures, Software and Specification’

 

 

On October 28-29, 2014 we will organise the famous two-days course ‘Introduction to Vibration’ and it will take place in Breda (NL). This course aims to give more insight knowledge to the attendees in:
- testing with a shaker system
- dealing with several kind of tests
- reading the theoretical test and the implementation of the test
- designing a fixture
Here you can find the contents of this course.

A second course ‘Fixtures, Software and Specifications’ will be organised on October 30, 2014, for those who are interested in aspects of vibration technology which lays beyond the introduction course. This day is intended to be an interactive course, where you can discuss problems related to vibration technology with the host(s) and your co-participants. You can even bring your own fixture(s), if you have questions about it and want to discuss it.
